The County Fair
Austin looked at the pigs,
but his favorite were the sheep.
Then we headed to the rides where we thought he would be a big scaredy cat. Boy did he prove us wrong!! He drove a Super Truck...
rode the Merry-Go-Round...
flew an airplane...
and then he insisted on riding the DRAGON WAGON!!
We kept waiting for him to be scared and start crying, but he was super exicted. He rode it twice! Look for him in the video below. He is in the 3rd car in the olive colored shirt.

At the Beach
While visiting the Oregon coast last week, we went to the beach. Austin isn't a fan of the water, but loves playing in the sand. Poor Ryan was sick (ear infection and fever) and had to spend most of the time in the car staying warm. Chris did sneak him out for a few minutes...
Swimming
Austin finally enjoys swimming! He wouldn't get in the water until my dad put Ryan in a floating ring. Not to be outdone by his little brother, Austin agreed to be put in a floating ring as well - the catch was that I couldn't let go of him. He "swam" for quite awhile and then decided I could let go. Oh boy did he have a good time!
